MCU Officially Announces Fantastic Four Movie – Dr Doom Excitement Reaches New Heights
October 30 , 2025
Marvel has dropped a fresh MCU update, and the timing couldn’t be more perfect.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps was the most recent MCU film to hit theaters, and it’s fair to say audiences thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
While certain elements of the movie leaned a bit too cautious, it delivered solid performances, stunning visual effects, and a thrilling teaser for Avengers: Doomsday. It’s an excellent entry to set the stage for wrapping up the franchise’s multiverse saga.
Still, we’re over a year away from seeing that cliffhanger resolved. Fortunately, Marvel’s new announcement should keep fans excited in the interim.

Marvel reveals Disney Plus release date for The Fantastic Four: First Steps
Marvel has officially confirmed that The Fantastic Four: First Steps will land on Disney Plus on November 5th, 2025. If you’ve been eager to rewatch the film months after its theatrical run, you’ll soon be able to enjoy it from the comfort of your own sofa.
The movie will be accessible to all Disney Plus subscribers, and like many previous Marvel releases, it’s expected to include bonus features and alternative viewing modes.
This is the ideal chance to revisit the film in the coming months as anticipation builds for Avengers: Doomsday — where the core cast of The Fantastic Four: First Steps will reunite for their next mission.
Originally released in July, The Fantastic Four: First Steps marked the iconic team’s MCU debut. Set in an alternate 1960s timeline, the film follows the quartet as they face off against Galactus, a cosmic entity bent on consuming Earth.
Past attempts to bring the Fantastic Four to the big screen have struggled to find success. Before this latest iteration, there was a scrapped 1994 film, two interconnected movies from 2005 to 2007, and a 2015 reboot.
Looking ahead to MCU projects leading up to Avengers: Doomsday, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set to release in July.
Several TV series are also in the works: Wonder Man premieres in January 2026, followed by Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 in March. Closing out 2026 are VisionQuest and the second season of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.
