Session-Saving Capability for Long-Term Tracking  

Every session in Tap Counter automatically saves progress, allowing users to resume counting days or weeks later. After closing the app, reopen it to find your last total intact. This feature is ideal for multi-day events, long-term fitness goals, or tracking recurring tasks like inventory checks.  

Lock Screen Functionality to Prevent Accidental Inputs  

Engage Tap Counter’s lock feature by tapping the padlock icon, freezing the screen to avoid unintended taps during movement-heavy tasks like workouts. Unlocking requires a quick double-tap, ensuring seamless transitions between active counting and secured totals.  

Battery-Saving Brightness Adjustment Mode  

Under "Settings," users can dim their screen brightness directly within Tap Counter to conserve battery during extended use. The app requests one-time permission to adjust brightness, ensuring uninterrupted counting sessions at outdoor events or low-light mantra practices.  

Increment/Decrement Flexibility for Dynamic Tallies  

Tap Counter supports bidirectional counting: swipe up/down to increase or decrease values in 1s, 5s, or 10s. Adjust increments via the gear icon for scenarios like counting groups of attendees or subtracting returned items from a stock total.
